Letting - Tenant Registration

We let and manage furnished and unfurnished apartments and houses, and although our stock changes daily, we would recommend you register your requirements with us. We also recommend that you start looking for a property at least 1 month in advance of your move date.

Also, consider what you can afford on a long term basis. You will be required to undergo credit referencing for example we check for CCJs, bankruptcies, landlord reference and employer’s reference and you will be required to pay a rent and bond (equal to a minimum 6 weeks rent).

We will actively seek properties to match your criteria and if a landlord knows you are waiting on their property, and have an idea of when you wish to take up occupation, we can move you in with ease. As a result, we will rent most properties before they are advertised on the website. So please, don’t miss out.

We can conduct viewings to suit you and provide detailed descriptions and photographs of the properties to assist you in deciding which may be more suitable to your requirements. When you attend a viewing, please put forward any suggestions you may have and we will pass the information onto the landlord. Any feedback is much appreciated as we need to conclude your exact requirements. Armed with this information we can locate a property to suit, therefore we aim to please.

The minimum tenancy agreement available with Smooth Moves is 6 months and when the initial agreement expires, it can roll on a month to month basis, or, if the landlord has no objections, you will be able to secure another fixed term for the same length of time to a maximum being 30 months.
